Tea as Meditation
Tea Master Fengxiao Liu invokes the spirit and tradition of Cha Dao ‘the way of tea’: The tea ceremony is a spiritual practice. Tea is the sacrament through which tranquility and mindfulness are obtained and universal energy is released.
Our tea ceremony is one hour with the enjoyment of three different teas of your choice (according to their availability). A variety of Chinese teas are always available. Clay pots and cups and wood tables connect the act of drinking tea to the earth from which tea springs to life.
Spend time acquainting yourself with Chinese teas. A tea ceremony is a perfect time to develop a deeper understanding of our perfectly brewed teas.
Herbal teas that contain no caffeine are available.
Groups of six or more for our tea ceremony require additional servers and preparation. Please call for more information.
Private tea ceremonies are available on request and at additional cost. Please call for details. We close our shop during private tea ceremonies so participants can enjoy uninterrupted service. During regular tea ceremonies, Fengxiao may need to take care of customers as needed. Participants can still enjoy good conversation and Chinese tea as she briefly services other customers.

Tea Ceremonies may be booked same day or days or weeks in advance. Please give some advance notice if you need to cancel.
